Funding Ideas |
We know that many organizations have little or no budget for arts funding.
You know how important the arts can be to our daily lives.
Below are some ideas for raising funds
to provide our performances and workshops for your organization.
We know these ideas have been successfully used by organizations.
We hope they work for you!

Sell Something Many organizations hold bake sales, candy sales, even garage sales to fund different activities. |

Seek A Sponsor Is there a local business or group member who may be willing to sponsor an arts event? Ask around! If you are a non-profit organization, their donation might be tax-deductible. |

Parents Many of our programs are designed for youth organizations and schools. Ask Parent-Teacher Organizations or an affiliated parent/adult group if they would like to sponsor an event. |

Grants Many school districts, cities, and philanthropic organizations have grant programs to fund arts programs. Check out your local library or the internet for information on what's available in your area and when the deadline is for application. |

Brainstorm Ideas Get together with others in your organization or someone you know in your community with experience in fundraising and brainstorm more ideas. Don't forget to involve some of the people you hope to have participate in the event. |
